Hors série is the reinterpretation of the small, solid wood stool found in all the courtyards in Ouagadougou. In the aluminium foundry workshop, a tray is drawn in the sand then a wooden foot model is driven down four times to a greater or lesser depth, thus gradually creating the mould for a new table. The aluminium is cast and the magic is worked. Even though they are mass produced, each table is nevertheless unique.
